Overview

We often talk about the impact of toxic workplace culture on organizations but fail to dig into the impact of toxic workplace cultures on individuals. Toxic workplace culture can lead to traumatic experiences for those who work in them.


In this session, we will Discuss:

  1. Characteristics of toxic workplace culture
  2. The impact on individuals in the workplace
  3. The responsibility that organizations and its employees have to ensure that everyone can move forward in a healthy way

We will dive into examples of toxic workplace culture and discuss practical steps to recover from the trauma of workplace drama to produce lasting change.


Miriam Dicks is an operations leader with proven experience in transforming organizations to achieve optimal operational performance. Over the past 20+ years she has held several positions in operations management and operations consulting as well as serving as adjunct faculty teaching operations courses on both the graduate and undergraduate level. Miriam’s passion for operations is fueled by her belief that any organization can operate in excellence with the right tools for change. She serves as the CEO of 180 Management Group
